Basically a huge face lift for the original "The Ultimate Torment & Torture" by Tormentor667 - Almost every weapon got a meticulous recoil effect, ensuring there is no change in the firing speed, and that the view pitch will be restored before the gun can be shot again. - Weapons with smooth animations (Perkristian's Smooth Weapons) + rls smooth minigun, further edited by DBThanatos (to make it less jumpy, and a couple new frames) - All the weapon's projectiles got some improved visuals. - New blood effects, and modified Nashgore trails to match the new blood sprites. - Almost all the monster's projectiles were given some FX lifts. - New bullet decals - New blood decals - Fixed 6 monster projectiles that had no dynamic light assigned in the original TUTNT And most important: Absolutely zero gameplay/balance changes. The prequel to Number One Kill The Next generation, a E2 replacement, A whole episode of new levels that are kind of easy to figure out but hard to exit because you must do allot of killing first. Perfectly fair with plenty of ammo. Built with quality in mind Challenging and also looks good. Took hundreads of hours too build and most of that time was spent on testing this wad and making this as close to ID standards as possible. I've have plenty of experience playing the ultimate doom and doom2 for two and a half years so I know that its a good quality wad.#1Kill

Fixes the irebolt/blade bugs (causepain flag/WRF_NOSWITCH flags at end of altfire, harmless being able to switch-cancel out of an attack at that point) and does some damagetype fiddling to make the weapons work a bit better. Among other things, wide enemies take less damage from rippers and radius damage is forced for all projectiles now.Eriguns v1.1a

A map03 replacement for Doom II. Just enter console, type map map03 and hit enter. This wad uses many "tricks" not specific to any port to create a tremendous 3d atmosphere including but not restricted to over/under bridge effect, room over room, and more. It is compatible and will only work with Zdoom and Legacy as far as I can tell. It will NOT work with GL ports or Vanilaa Doom2. The textures use were mostly taken from a texture wad released by Nick Baker originally slated for Episode 5 of the Nightmare Project but which apparently never got off the ground. The original file has been altered dramatically with a bunch of new custom textures created by myself and Shitbag. Bloodworks

In case you're wondering, it's a sort of "experiment" in which the background music for Doom/Doom II is replaced (almost) completely with ambiance which will make the game more atmospheric and sinister to further convey that sense of loneliness in that "you vs. them" theme, as well as emulate what kind of level you're in (ex, computer drones and noises in E1M7), unless you're ending or starting an episode, in which a more musical track will play. Most of the ambiance is taken from the Doom 3 Alpha. However, if you're someone that's looking for fast-paced metal or the like, this probably won't satisfy you. If you're someone who's wanting to make the game more atmospheric without using PSX music, this should be right up your alley.Hellstorm Archon's ambient music pack

I figured that most "id-holics" have most, if not all of id Software's games, so I packaged them all in one ZIP file rather than separately , and included as a bonus, one for Team Eternal's "Eternal Doom III".Nitesky

A pack ready to play with GzDooM and Qeffects, only you need to copy your registered Doom1.wad or Doom2.wad etc to a directory where you unrar this file. Of course every file can be found as I will point were are available today, but Its nice to have the recompilation here just in case I am adding some things. This probably needs a powerful machine due to hi-res. I also did not edit anyfile, just the list of wads, and two .bat for running them. GZdoom, With Bloom, hi res textures, hi res original sounds, ambience instead of music, beam flashlights and footsteps.Dark DooM

NecroDoom is a gameplay mod featuring the Necrosuit, a heavy-weapons exoskeleton capable of delivering large doses of whoopass to anything that moves (or doesn't move, for that matter). It's mostly just a showoff mod for the recently-ripped Necrodome weapons, but I got a bit carried away and implemented a few neat things that should hopefully make for an interesting gameplay experience. Full list o' Features: 6 new weapons, ranging from twin chainguns to rocket pods. Brand-new (sorta) military hardware, including the crowd-pleasing Napalm Bomb Revolutionary (not really) dismount system -- enter/exit the Necrosuit at will (and blow it up if you so desire!) Hell's Ambiance is a compilation of unnerving ambient tracks to give Doom that extra spooky atmosphere if you are tired of the PSX Doom or Doom 64 track set. It features 18 tracks from Kevin MacLeod's royalty free set while the rest is supplemented by Jaxxoon R's Dark Ambient Pack (also on /idgames/) to give maximum tension.
